Shangri-La Sydney

Nice views. Walking distance to the Rocks and cruise ship dock.

My husband and I celebrated our 70th and 60th birthdays with an overnight stay at the Shangri-La including a Wellness Day Spa with lunch. We were so pleasantly surprised with a lovely room on Level 27 with Harbourview of Luna Park, Harbour Bridge and Opera House. As well we were treated to a birthday cake and champagne on the house on our arrival including an early check in to coincide with our Day Spa schedule and a late check-out. The 2 course package Altitude lunch on Level 36 was exceptional as part of our Wellness Spa Package. We chose to visit a local eatery for dinner and one of the staff members we were chatting to in the lift on the way down suggested we take an umbrella from Reception which was such a nice touch of exceptional service and customer care. It was so nice to just step away from our normal routine and enjoy such a luxurious room getaway. Thank you so much.

We would love to thank the beautiful young receptionist who was working on Saturday the 8th of March 4:30 pm who looked after us. We were upgraded for no other reason other than her incredible capacity to show kindness to two very humble people. We are nurses and never dreamed of ever staying in a room like that - it literally took our breaths away and made our eyes leak with overwhelming gratitude. She has no idea the impact she has had on creating a memory that will last forever for us, and we were so incredible blessed and grateful she was on that day. We wanted to buy her some flowers to show our enormous thank you, but I wasn't wearing my glasses at the time and and didn't get her name But we will remember her and the experience she gave us. She is a true gift to your organisation and words are just not enough to express our heartfelt thanks David & Katherine

Room was amazing, bed very comfortable and large. Views from the bar were fabulous.

My wife and I recently stayed at the hotel to celebrate her birthday. From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, our experience was excellent. All the facilities were very nice. Staff were wonderful. Breakfast was exceptional. Room was excellent. They put us on the 35th floor which was amazing. The Horizon Club Lounge was a nice addition to our stay as it served us exceptionally well. The evening canapes and beverages were amazing. I would like to say a big thank you to the staff at the Horizon Club Lounge, especailly Jay and Jessica for looking after us and also Laura(the Italian waitress),as being Italian myself, found her very nice and friendly. In saying that, all the staff were great. The Blu Bar on the 36th floor was also a very exceptional place to have evening drinks with such amazing views. In all, we had a great experience and definitely, will stay there again on our next visit to Sydney.
